On Sunday, the lifeless body of a 50-year-old assistant sub-inspector was discovered hanging from the roof of a barrack in Gaya district, Bihar. An official confirmed the details of the incident.
The deceased officer has been identified as Rajesh Kumar Singh, a resident of Gaya district.
Senior Superintendent of Police Ram Anand Kumar Kaushal stated, 'Singh was serving as an assistant sub-inspector in the Bihar Military Police. His body has been sent for post-mortem, and the family has been notified.'
Investigation Status
In response to concerns raised by Singh's sister regarding potential foul play, the official mentioned, 'We will initiate an investigation if we receive a written complaint from any family member.'
